• Make a chick in a shell.
• Make a word search with some words relating to chicks in it.
• Keep a food diary for a few days and record which food groups.
• Write a letter to the Chick Company to persuade them to let us keep the chicks in our school.  
• Research the development of a chick and write a sentence to explain each stage. 
• Look at the items in your house and decide whether you would measure them with Kg or grams, cm or m, litres or milliliters.
