Afternoon activities happening this week.

This week we are continuing with our rainforest topic.

Harley was learning about the different layers of the rainforest and the types of animals found in each. He drew a detailed picture of the emergent layer, the canopy layer and the forest floor.

The red group were in our outdoor area on a mini beast hunt. They were creating a list of mini beasts they found in their books. I wonder how many they found!

Chloe and her group were busy designing a mini beast catcher. This will be put in our outdoor area when we have chosen the best design. Each group will work as team to create one catcher.

Nebiha was on the iPads playing a game about the rainforest. The idea is to walk around, spot animals and take a photo of them. The children are encouraged to look high and low in order to spot all different kind of rainforest animals.
